At Mario Metal Roofing, we prioritize our customers’ needs and strive to make every roofing project as smooth and stress-free as possible. We understand that installing or replacing a roof is a significant investment, and we take pride in being the leading choice for metal roofing in our community. Our success is driven by our unwavering commitment to exceptional customer service and high-quality workmanship.

Our Metal Roofing Preparation Process

To ensure a seamless installation experience with minimal disruption to your daily life, we follow a detailed preparation process before starting your metal roofing project:

Clear Driveway and Garage

We make sure to move any vehicles from your garage and driveway to provide us with the necessary space to work. This will help us perform the installation efficiently and safely.

Protect Your Garage

We recommend placing a tarp over your garage to prevent dust and debris from entering. This will also help safeguard your belongings from potential damage during the installation.

Secure Windows

To avoid any accidental damage to your windows, we suggest placing wooden boards or other barriers over them. This precaution ensures that falling materials do not cause harm.

Remove Obstructions

Clear any patio furniture, planters, or other items from around your home. This will not only provide our team with unobstructed access but also protect your possessions from potential damage.

Step-by-Step Metal Roof Installation

Once the preparation is complete, our team follows a meticulous process to install your new metal roof:

Step 1: Order and Cut Panels

We measure and cut metal roofing panels to fit your roof precisely, minimizing seams. A large lift is used to place the panels onto the roof safely.

Step 2: Trim Preparation

Using aviation snips, we cut and bend the trim ends to fit neatly around corners. We install the eave trim with high-quality roofing nails, ensuring a secure attachment to the roof deck.

Step 3: Splice and Overlap Trims

We splice the trim ends where they meet, cut the bottom of the underlapping trim, and apply sealant. The overlapping trim is then slid over the underlapping trim to create a watertight seal.

Step 4: Reference Line

A square reference line is established 90 degrees to the eave to guide the placement of metal roofing panels.

Step 5: Panel Installation

We place each panel on foam closure strips to prevent pests and water infiltration. Panels are secured with screws to ensure a tight, watertight seal.

Step 6: Overlap Panels and Rake Edge

Panels are overlapped for a seamless fit. We attach the gable trim to finish the edge, preventing rain or snow from getting under the panels.

Step 7: Final Panel Placement

High-quality metal panels are placed over the wood panels to complete your new roof.
